Approval of Agreement with Ruidoso Valley Chamber of Commerce for Professional Services for Operation of the Ruidoso Visitor's Center, Billy the Kid Visitor's Center and the Wingfield House Heritage Center for the Village of Ruidoso, in an Amount not to Exceed $227,700 for the period of July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024. 

The contract is currently budgeted in the FY 2024 Lodgers' Tax Fund's Visitor Center line item (214-165-52062) in the amount of $227,700.00.  The contract is a sole source procurement that is being advertised. The contract will be available for signing on June 30, 2023.

This agreement contracts, through sole source, with the Ruidoso Chamber of Commerce for professional services needed to operate both the Ruidoso Visitor’s Center and the Billy the Kid Visitor’s Center with funding from the Lodgers Tax Fund.This agreement contracts with the Ruidoso Valley Chamber of Commerce to perform such services in accordance with the terms of this agreement incorporated by reference and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws. The Scope of Work  includes staffing and daily operations of the Visitor Center at the Chamber of Commerce and the Billy the Kid Visitor's Center and Wingfield House. The Chamber Director will be  required to provide quarterly updates to the Village Manager and reporting to the Lodgers Tax Board.
