Currently, the New Mexico State Fire Marshal's Office conducts fire inspections on all new commercial occupancies requiring business owners to wait for those services for an undetermined amount of time. Having this MOU in place will allow Ruidoso Fire Inspectors to assist business owners in expediting their inspections, and will allow the fire department greater awareness of the building's safety features for operational pre-planning purposes. |
